Pamcake Sweets and Treats was founded on the need to get back into the kitchen while in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Along with many in the hospitality industry I lost my job, and found myself at home with nothing to do but bake, and that is exactly what I did. I started to create cakes, and small treats for my family. Soon I came to realize that I wanted to share these treats with those in the community. There is no better way to calm oneself in the midst of an unnerving time than with some goodies to share with your loved ones.
In a Latin American house, the kitchen is always a fascinating sanctuary. At a young age I would watch my mom make rice and stews, while I opened a box of Betty Crocker's Devil's Food Cake mix and attempted to put it together. How can such simple ingredients make gorgeous aromas, and make you feel amazing?
My curiosity for food and culture got me to the Culinary Institute of America. Studying in Hudson Valley, NY and Napa Valley, CA opened my eyes to the possibilities simple ingredients have to create such delectable treats. Being able to work under great mentors in Napa, Nashville, NYC, and of course mom's kitchen has allowed me to find tasty flavors to simple treats. I enjoy bringing you new flavors to try, in hope of a smile on your face after a big bite!
